On the fully-tiled ground floor, the cosy dining kitchen is fully equipped for up to 5 people. A washing machine is provided in the integral garage. Off the kitchen is a huge newly fitted all-white shower-room. To the other side of the kitchen, a passageway leads to a small bedroom with single bed and a built-in vanity unit.

A magnificent oak staircase with terracotta tiled treads leads upstairs from the kitchen. The large attic bedroom has shuttered windows facing north, south and west and is furnished with a large double bed, and bunk-beds (which can be separated if required). There is a sitting area set around an stone fireplace (with wood-burner insert) with 2 comfy armchairs and a sofa. A TV with integral radio, and satellite connection is provided. In addition a video and DVD player are available for watching a selection of videos provided for guests use.

To one side of the house is a private garden and patio with wrought iron furniture and brick-built barbecue. The garden is level and mainly grass, and offers plenty of space for relaxing in the sun or for a game of badminton or boules, or perhaps a snooze under the shade of the fabulous fig tree after an alfresco lunch.

On the other side of the house a glazed door opens onto the courtyard area and swimming pool (salt-water), shared with residents of "Le Tilleul" (max. 8 people). The pool is a constant depth of 1.5m, with steps across the full width at one end. It is 8m x 4m, and the pool area is fully paved with warm terracotta tiles, with ample space at one end for sunbathing on the teak sunloungers. Pets are welcome (max. 2), please refer to terms of letting for further details.

          (Guests with pets should be advised that the garden at Le Figuier is not securely enclosed so pets could easily get out. The large patio area however is fully enclosed by stone walls on all sides, and a wrought iron gate provides the only access to the main part of the garden.)
